Our drop-off recycling facilities in Arcata and Eureka are one-stop-drops for materials that can be reused or recycled.

At our centers, you can recycle most of what might otherwise go into your trash (see recyclables list).

A few items have fees (e.g. appliances, e-waste) (see comp), but you can recycle most items for free at our centers and even receive a CRV refund for many of them (see CRV list.) Click here to view a complete list of materials accepted for recycling.

Most of your recyclables can be sorted into just two bins: containers and paper. Other items like batteries, sharps and styrofoam peanuts still have their own bins, and you can still redeem your CRV items by separating them from your other recyclables. Please ask an employee for assistance if you have any questions.
